Protective Parent Reform Act

Many parents have gone to court in an attempt to protect their children from sexual and physical abuse. However, many times the court removes the children from the parent who discloses the abuse. Often the "protective" parent is not allowed even visitation, or they are only allowed supervised visitation. Because of this trend across the country, the Protective Parent Reform Act was drafted.

Talia Carner, author of "PUPPET CHILD", asked Richard Ducote, a New Orleans-based attorney who has tried custody cases in over 40 states, to draft the proposed legislation to help parents who try to protect their children from being sexually abused by the other parent.
