- 2.23.Joint Finance Committee Meeting - Child Support Enforcement
Citizens can give 3-5 minutes of testimony and although that is not a lot of time, much can be said and an impact made if we all stand up and speak up. The government agencies and the court come before the Joint Finance Committee and ask for money for the next fiscal year. It is during this time that the heads of the departments are in attendance before legislators.

Delaware Court Reform Initiative (DCRI) is a group of individuals that have been through the experience of Family Court in the State of Delaware. We have seen the inside of Family Court in all three counties, New Castle, Kent, and Sussex.

DCRI IS here to provide information to individuals on how to help themself and help the general experience of going through Family Court in the state of DE. DCRI can be a focal point of many citizens in Delaware to help concentrate an effort to bring court reform to the Family Court of Delaware.

DCRI is NOT an organization to provide counseling, provide individual help as a consultant, review your entire case, suggest the direction of your case.

How to Contact Us

You may think you are alone; that what is happening to you and your family is unique and not happening to others. That is far from the truth. What you are experiencing is being repeated 100 times over in this state and across the nation. Family court is broken and until people like you join others to stand up and advocate for change, the system will remain broken. Together we can make a difference.

It is very important that you attend the FLC meeting if you want to see change in Family Court. FLC is another means to have your voice heard in addition to contacting your representative in Dover.
